2023 saw the 3rd annual return of Competitive Socialising: The Power of Play event, bringing together over 900 attendees. The event focuses on sharing best practices, highlighting the growing and sustained trend of competitive socilaising as a subsector within the wider hospitality industry and the latest innovations and reporting. The event showcased over 30 competitive socialising products (set to free to play!), talks and panels from industry experts and operator technologies, exciting entertainment and plenty of networking.

The speaker lineup showcased experts from across the industry, including the likes of BII, Red Engine, PINS Social Club, Rileys, Social Gaming Group, and so many more. There were great discussions on starting up a business, where to focus efforts to improve, research and insights into the sector as a whole and impressive use of technologies to increase gains.

The event itself reflected the competitive socialising spirit, with a great selection of food and drinks provided by sponsors Coca Cola, BrewDog, Monster, Brakes, Hi-Spirits, Curious Brewery, Dalla Corte and Molinari to keep attendees well watered and fed whilst they checked out the latest in gaming technologies. The atmosphere was set with an incredible branded building wrap, purple lighting throughout and accompanying music and entertainment provided by GigRealm, Just Talent and Kwizzbit.
